The problem

Multi-tenant mobile menu for restaurants in Cochabamba: customers order from their table by scanning a QR code.

  1. 01Per-branch digital menu, designed for the diner’s phone
  2. 02Table ordering by scanning a QR code, plus checkout
  3. 03Coupons, promo banners, plans and branch management
  4. 04Google Maps integration and a high-contrast mode for accessibility

What I learned

  • → 01Next.js App Router on a real product: cleanly separating what runs on the server and on the client.
  • → 02The end user is hungry and in a hurry: every extra step in the order is a lost order.
  • → 03Accessibility (high contrast) isn’t an extra: menus get read in dim places.
