The problem

It started as an app where business owners publish ads, events and coupons for their customers. Midway it added a marketplace for businesses to hire influencers.

What I learned

  • → 01Requirements change midway: an ads app also became an influencer marketplace, and the architecture had to hold up.
  • → 02Mobile performance: long lists with images and video demand virtualization and care with every render.
  • → 03Building for a market in another country and language: i18n from day one, not as a patch.
